Legislation Paramount Over the ATIPP Act

Some provisions of other Yukon acts and regulations are paramount over the ATIPP Act.

If there is a conflict between their provisions and the provisions of the ATIPP Act, then the provisions of those acts or regulations prevail.

Some federal legislation gives the Yukon government control over certain information; however, the privacy and disclosure provisions of the federal legislation prevail over the ATIPP Act.

Any disclosure of this information must be in accordance with section 118 of that act, despite any seemingly applicable ATIPP provision.
